Leave it to Habersham!
I picked up the new issue of Dream Kitchens & Baths today and among all the wonderful kitchens featured, there was one standout that I had seen on the Habersham site some time ago.
It's the kitchen of Kim and Paul Dacier. Kim designed the kitchen and with the help of Habersham Home, came up with some beautiful details.
As always when decorating, it's the details that make a room and even though this kitchen looks quite opulent, it is beautifully planned and thought out.
I like so many things about it.....the wonderful mouldings throughout, the distressed finish which makes it look aged already, the beadboard, the island seating area, the seaglass tiles, the farmhouse sink, the lighting, the darkened beadboard in the cabinets which feature the plates, as well as the eat-at island!
Let me know what you think of it!

Wicker Furniture
We are experiencing a winter wonderland here on the east coast this week. We have had a very mild winter and just a couple of days ago, I was beginning to believe that spring was just around the corner. And then the snow came.
However, that has not dampened my visions of spring......I've been thinking a lot lately about sunporches, verandas, wicker furniture, painted and glazed furniture, colorful fabrics, cotton rugs, beadboard, springtime colors and summer breezes. So, I hope you will bear with me while I ponder and plan.
Yes, plan! I have been working on the interior design of a client's newly constructed weekend getaway and that also explains why my vision has gone so far past winter that I have barely noticed the mounds of snow everywhere and icicles hanging from our eaves!
Over the next while, I will be sharing some of my finds with you and am starting with wicker!
Enjoy!

Fabulous French Country
Who can get enough of Charles Faudree's charming decor......he is a true master of french country! So masterful with his placement of objects.......each of his rooms has a lot to enjoy as your eye scans the picture as a whole, but it never looks cluttered to me. Perhaps because every object is so well chosen, collectible and part of a collection........every item is appreciated and his color sense never fails!
The rooms below are from different homes he has decorated over his career.
Enjoy!

Love this room!
The other side of the twin beds
Cosy!
One of his very elegant rooms!
One of his more minimal looks!
So cosy and inviting
What a great mix!
What charm!

Conservatory Living
We don't see many conservatories in this part of the world, but I have always loved them.
They seem to be a way of life in other parts of the world though, especially England. And they are used in many ways, as you will see below.

Loving the Art of Georgia Fiennes
This British artist loves animals and loves whimsy...............by combining both, she has come up with a unique and colorful perspective.
I first saw her work at Brabourne Farm a while back, and had to check out her art......it's irresistible!
Enjoy and have a great weekend!
