A Room of Her Own - Oprah's Tea House

This is the room Oprah loves to escape to every chance she gets. She can read quietly while there, meditate, listen to music or socialize - all while enjoying her spectacular and beloved garden filled with thousands of roses, hydrangeas and dahlias.

No matter where she is in the world, she knows this tea house is awaiting her arrival. "It's my dream, having a place like this. Some people ask, 'Why do you need more space?' And I tell them, 'I need it to restore myself.'

While we may never have our own tea house, we can certainly dream!

A Colorful Shoot of Gorgeous Bridal Gowns

I came upon this bridal shoot with Lydia Hearst modelling some beautiful designer wedding gowns against such artful backdrops that I just had to share.

She is a lover of flowers, so she was surrounded by lots of blooms (real and handmade) to enhance the scenes. Some of the backdrops reminded me of some Matisse paintings, while others were designed to enhance the designer outfits.
