An Invitation to Recline

Looking for a comfy place to lay down and read a book on a quiet afternoon?  Perhaps you need a quick catnap!  Look no further!  For the fortunate owner of a daybed, it's an automatic invitation to recline.

Among the daybeds below you will surely find something suitable for your taste and comfort. There's a bit of everything with neutral and colorful palettes, solids and prints, with or without canopies and indoors or out?

Take a little time and imagine which one you would choose..........and hope you don't mind sharing some of them with a few furry best friends!

Have a wonderful day!

Crazy for Coral!

I am loving all the coral I am seeing these days!  Whether it's a whole collection gathered over a lifetime, or a touch of it here and there, it's a wonderful addition to any room!

And the colors!  Red, white, blue and pink are just a few that I have seen and it's charming in all forms - textiles, lights, mirrors, art - the sky is the limit!

Enjoy!

Oscar de la Renta's home

Isn't this blue collection gorgeous?

Stunning!  Diamond Baratta at its best!

Mary and James Carville's foyer in AD
Love the light sconces!

This Palm Beach living room is exquisite!

This Italian villa has 25,000 pieces of hand made coral installed in its walls and ceiling!

This Jamaican villa by Charles Faudree is stunning - see
more in Veranda magazine!

Beautiful vignette with a touch of coral!

Isn't this a stunning bath for Mrs. Galen Weston's Florida home -
the red and pink is delicious!

Cabin Fever

This rustic and refined, 5,200 sq. foot cabin in Cashiers, North Carolina, was the last project the wonderfully talented, late interior designer, Charles Faudree, completed before he passed away in 2013.

The cosy, inviting and unique interiors are a perfect example of Faudree's ability to refine any interior and personalize it for the homeowners, who own an antique shop and travelled to the Paris flea markets a couple of times with Faudree to acquire the appropriate pieces for their home.

Just love the warmth of this home.

Enjoy!

Fabulous French Country

Who can get enough of Charles Faudree's charming decor......he is a true master of french country!  So masterful with his placement of objects.......each of his rooms has a lot to enjoy as your eye scans the picture as a whole, but it never looks cluttered to me.  Perhaps because every object is so well chosen, collectible and part of a collection........every item is appreciated and his color sense never fails!

The rooms below are from different homes he has decorated over his career.

Enjoy!

Love this room!

The other side of the twin beds

Cosy!

One of his very elegant rooms!

One of his more minimal looks!

So cosy and inviting

What a great mix!

What charm!
